I went to a wedding with Lea, Ethan, Ty, and some other people. Me and le were just sitting on a bench and this guy in an orange jump suit comes up to us and he’s my convict uncle. He says that he’s going to change into a suit for the wedding . i get really uncomfortable and tell someone then when he hears about it he threatens to hurt me if i tell anyone else that he is a convict. He’s very dangerous and wants to kill someone that’s at the wedding. He blends in because he’s wearing a suit now and he grabs a knife. He leaves and goes into his car. He then comes back and i lock the doors to the house that the wedding was at. Then he gets in somehow and attacks me. He proceeds to attack lots of people at the wedding and threatens anyone who tries to stop him. I manage to call the police and they come and he gets taken away. He ends up escaping the police car and comes back to the wedding just to cause havoc again then he just leave and never comes back.
Dreams about weddings typically symbolize union, commitment, or new beginnings, but the presence of your convict uncle and the ensuing chaos suggests that this dream may reflect underlying anxieties or conflicts in your life, particularly regarding family dynamics and feelings of safety.
Here are a few interpretations of the various elements in your dream:
Wedding Setting: The wedding may symbolize a significant change or commitment in your life. This can relate to relationships, work, or personal projects. However, the intrusion of your convict uncle suggests that there are unresolved issues or conflicts that are threatening your sense of happiness or peace during this transformative time.
Convict Uncle: The presence of a family member who represents danger or instability may indicate feelings of shame, guilt, or fear associated with your familial relationships. This character could symbolize a part of your past or family history that you find troubling or wish to distance yourself from. It may also reflect concerns regarding how external influences can disrupt your sense of security.
Threats and Violence: His threatening behavior suggests feelings of being unsafe or vulnerable. This could relate to real-life fears—whether they are about betrayal, conflicts, or a feeling that someone or something is sabotaging your happiness. Additionally, it may represent a fear of confrontation or conflict with someone you care about.
Locking Doors: Your action of locking doors may symbolize a desire to protect yourself or your personal space from outside threats. It shows an instinctual response to create boundaries around yourself and the people you care about, indicating an awareness of potential dangers in your life.
Call for Help: Calling the police indicates a recognition of needing support and the importance of seeking help in difficult situations. This could mirror real-life scenarios where you’ve felt overwhelmed and needed to rely on others for assistance or mediation.
The Uncle’s Escape: His ability to escape the police and return may symbolize feelings of frustration or helplessness regarding a persistent issue or threat in your life that you believe you have dealt with, but that seems to resurface despite your efforts.
Overall, your dream seems to express a complex interplay of emotions surrounding change, fear, and the need for safety, particularly during significant transitions in your life. It might be helpful to reflect on any current situations or relationships that feel threatening or unresolved, and consider how you might address or confront these challenges in your waking life.
